Bronze Camp
Bronze Camp runs 6–12 December 2026 at Main Beach, Lakes Entrance, for candidates aged 15+.
Award outcome
Bronze Camp is the club's annual intensive pathway for the Bronze Medallion. It builds surf awareness, rescue skills, first aid, teamwork and the confidence needed to patrol local beaches.
The 2026 camp also includes a Surf Rescue Certificate stream for 13 and 14 year olds. Bronze candidates stay on camp and are expected to commit to at least one season of patrols.
Bronze Camp 2026 details
- When: Sunday 6 to Saturday 12 December 2026.
- Where: SLSLE, Main Beach, Lakes Entrance.
- Bronze Medallion: minimum age 15 years; candidates stay on camp.
- Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC): for ages 13–14; starts Monday 7 December.
