The SRC stream of Bronze Camp 2026 starts 7 December at Main Beach for 13 and 14 year olds.

The Surf Rescue Certificate is the entry-level award for becoming a patrolling surf lifesaver from age 13. It introduces rescue techniques, first aid, resuscitation and the practical teamwork expected on patrol.
Candidates are expected to commit to at least one season of beach patrols, with about five rostered patrols per member.
- SRC starts Monday 7 December 2026 during Bronze Camp (6–12 December).
- Where: SLSLE, Main Beach, Lakes Entrance.
- Age: 13–14 years.
